Sports Carnival, Part 2
After dampening our spirits with two straight periods of assembly, (the first one being about copyright and the second about money management) the school finally started the second part of the sport carnival.
The whole secondary one had to sit at the SANDY field and watch the tug of war matches. Our class' team consisted of three boys and two girls. They were (in order): Benn, Hong Ze, Guo Chang, (Our secret 'weapon') Audrey and Yu Harn. The team were full of confidence before they heard that the team had to stand in order. (first -> nearest to flag, last -> furtherst to flag) So our "secret weapon" was not in the front and the team eventually lost.
Our team includes of Kairul, Saifuddin, me, Javier, Justin, Zuhairi and Edwin (oh no...). As you can see, the team sucks (in soccer). And with Kairul in his school uniform instead of his pe attire, our chances of winning has seriously decreased. Our 5-person team for the first match was Javier, Me, Saifuddin, Zuhairi and Kairul (who managed to convince the judge to let him play as there was no time left to get Edwin) Suprisingly, we had drawed with our opponent instead of losing. As the round only lasted one minute plus and we kept kicking the ball out, the score was 0 - 0. Second match: The team was the same except that Kairul was replaced with Edwin and we lost beacuse of a last second score by 1/7 . Nvm. The result of the game could be easily anticipated.
Followed Javier to the library to return his books. After that, as i went out of the library i saw a very familar figure. I was not really sure who the girl was and so i followed her and soon found out that she was none other than Joan. lol. Haven't saw her (alothough we are neighbours) for a long, long time. I also realized that i have grown much taller. I was around her height when we received our PSLE result and know i'm taller than her. Sweet!
